AVS, Chevron, Fero and Ramudden, known as Work Zone Safety Group of Companies (WZSG), have signed an agreement to acquire Bartenbach Group, Austria 

Leverkusen (Germany) / Bürs (Austria), February 1, 2022 – WZSG, the largest temporary traffic and safety solutions specialists in Europe, through AVS Group, has acquired Bartenbach Group, a renowned supplier in the field of road marking with headquarters in Bürs, Vorarlberg, Austria. Terms and conditions of the transaction are not disclosed.

New Leadership for the work zone safety and traffic management companies AVS, Chevron, Fero, HRS and Ramudden

Bora Gülan will start as Group CEO and Board Member of the holding company for the five companies AVS, Chevron, Fero, HRS and Ramudden effective as of October 1st, 2021.

AVS Group celebrates 60th anniversary

Leverkusen (Germany), June 2021 - AVS Verkehrssicherung ("AVS"), a portfolio company of Triton Fund IV, celebrates its 60th anniversary this month. The company has its origins in Peter Berghaus GmbH, founded in June 1961 by Peter Berghaus in Kürten near Cologne as a retailer of electrical goods. At the beginning of the 1960s, the trained electrician developed the first radio traffic light and thus created the nucleus for AVS, today one of the largest traffic safety companies in Germany with 930 employees. Together with the leading providers of road safety services in Great Britain, Belgium and the Nordic countries, more than 3,100 experienced employees use their know-how to ensure safety on Europe's roads.

AVS relies on digital technologies to increase safety in transportation projects
Leverkusen (Germany), April 14, 2021 - AVS Verkehrssicherung ("AVS"), a portfolio company of Triton Fund IV, is expanding its critical infrastructure security activities through digital applications. In the project "The Intelligent Construction Site", changes to the traffic safety equipment in use can be tracked in real time via a web portal. In the UK, this solution has been used successfully for many years to monitor construction sites in real time and thus significantly increase safety. Now the first pilot project has been launched in Germany on the A43 between Recklinghausen and Herne.

Triton to merge portfolio companies AVS, Chevron, Fero and Ramudden

AVS Verkehrssicherung has signed an agreement to acquire Sven Riebisch Verkehrstechnik GmbH (SRV)
Leverkusen/Limbach-Oberfrohna (Germany), September 18, 2020 – AVS Verkehrssicherung ("AVS"), a Triton Fund IV portfolio company, has signed an agreement to acquire SRV Verkehrstechnik GmbH ("SRV"), a renowned provider of road marking and construction site safety services. AVS Verkehrssicherung has signed an agreement to acquire Gerding GmbH / MIS GmbH
Leverkusen/Senden (Germany), May 13, 2020 - AVS Verkehrssicherung ("AVS"), a Triton Fund IV portfolio company, has signed an agreement to acquire Gerding GmbH Verkehrstechnik and MIS GmbH ("Gerding/MIS"), a renowned provider in the field of traffic engineering based in Senden, Germany. AVS Group Management Change
Kürten (Germany), 1 February 2020 – Today AVS Group, a Triton Fund IV portfolio company, announces a change in its management. Effective February 1st, 2020, Dieter Berghaus, CEO, will hand over the operational business and function of the Chief Executive Officer to Hendrik Hucke. Dieter Berghaus will remain a shareholder of AVS Group and join its Advisory Board. From now on, he will increasingly focus on high-level topics regarding AVS Group as well as support the company’s further development as an advisor.

Kürten / Wittstock (Germany), 2 July 2019 - AVS Verkehrssicherung ("AVS"), a portfolio company of Triton Fonds IV, has signed an agreement to acquire Lorenz GmbH ("Lorenz"), a renowned provider in the field of road marking and construction site safety based in Wittstock / Dosse.

AVS Verkehrssicherung has signed an agreement to acquire Fero Group
AVS Verkehrssicherung, a Triton Fund IV company, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority share in Fero Group, a leading player in Belgium in temporary traffic management services, from the founding Haerens family.

AVS Verkehrssicherung has signed an agreement to acquire Schötz Verkehrs- und Arbeitsstellensicherung
AVS Verkehrssicherung has entered into an agreement to acquire Schötz Verkehrs- und Arbeitsstellensicherung GmbH, a provider in the field of traffic and construction site safety, based in Fürth.
