World Heritage Run Bamberg

The World Heritage Run is a street and folk run in Bamberg. Various runs take place - from the course for children to the half marathon. The half marathon is one of the most demanding of the big half marathons in Germany. The running tracks of the various races lead through the old town of Bamberg, to the cathedral, the Altenburg grounds and through the grove. The World Heritage Run has taken place every two years since 2003 (usually on the first Sunday in May). Schötz has accompanied the Weltkulturerbelauf e.V. since its inception and is responsible for traffic safety for this day.
